At Supportive Health, we provide Live-in Care. We understand the need for Live-in Care for some elderly individuals. Live-in Caregivers can provide invaluable personal support on either a temporary or long-term basis. This allows the elderly to live safely and comfortably at home. The Live-in Caregiver usually assists with most personal needs, takes care of household chores and often provides company. The family usually does not have to worry about their loved one, because he or she is in safe hands.
Live-in Care can help when:
- A family needs a break of a few days to weeks from the daily responsibility and chores of providing 24/7 support.
- Someone needs assistance recovering after surgery (short-term Live-in Care).
- An individual has no family members nearby — long-term Live-in Care enables them to remain independent for some time.
- A family member is in the terminal stages and requires basic comfort and care.
- In some rare cases, where an individual requires a lot of care, two Live-in Caregivers may be needed for a short period.
Sometimes family members do not know what type of home health care to choose, and in such cases a consultation with the home health agency will be of tremendous help. At Supportive Health, we offer an initial free consultation with our professional staff where all the issues can be discussed.
